Our Site rules
We take our Health and Safety responsibilities very seriously and ask visitors to respect our safety rules for everybody’s safety and enjoyment.
These rules are subject to change at the management’s discretion.
Smoking and vaping, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited in the toilet and shower blocks and the wash areas. You are also reminded about not causing annoyance to neighbouring campers.
All cigarette waste must be disposed of safely within the bins and not on the grass.
Please leave your pitch, washing area and facilities as you found them.
Due to our campsite being part of a working farm there are inevitably some natural features where campers should take extra care including around the hedges, ponds and streams and uneven ground.
Campers should familiarise themselves with the site during daylight hours so that they know where the facilities, office, streams, steps, paths, boundaries and fire extinguisher point are located.
We ask fire extinguisher boxes are only accessed when there is a genuine need to extinguish a fire. The boxes are connected to the alarm system and this will sound when access is gained to them.
Generators are not permitted on site.
Please ensure there are no more than eight people to a pitch, unless agreed with us in advance.
Gazebos and awnings or similar are limited to 3m in size and must be kept within your pitch.
A map showing the boundary fence is located in the communal wash up area.
Parents must supervise their children at all times whilst on the site especially around the shower block and wash up area.
Our quiet time is from 10:30pm until 7:00am. Please always be considerate to other campers as we are a family campsite. All music must be turned off by 9:00pm and a night warden will patrol the site throughout the night. Unfortunately, if you do not adhere to the quiet time rules you may be asked to leave.
All music played on amplified systems, including car audio systems must be kept at a volume where neighbours or fellow campers are not disturbed. As we are a family campsite, you are reminded that this also includes music content that may be considered offensive.
Please observe the campsite speed limit, which is 5mph throughout the site.
For the safety and security of the site and our visitors, we have automated gate control at the entrance to the site, for both vehicles and pedestrians. This system is operated by the means of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and will operate on the basis of the number plate of your vehicle that you provide at the time of booking. If you have number plates that don’t comply with UK standards, then there is a chance that this system will not work. In the event of this, a code will be provided at the time of booking that will be valid for the duration of your stay that can be entered into one of the keypads for both vehicle and pedestrian access.
You are reminded that the gates are automated, please keep clear of the gates and be aware that they can move at any time and do not let children play near or be unsupervised around the gates at any time.
Although the gates are fitted with number of safety features we cannot be responsible for any injuries or damaged caused due to peoples actions around the gates.
There will be strictly no tailgating of other vehicles through the gates.
Only one vehicle at a time is to travel through the gates during one gate movement operation.
Under no circumstances are the individual site access codes gives out at the time of booking to be distributed or give to any other persons who are not booked to stay on the site.
Any pre-arranged visitors that come to the site must pay the additional visitor fees and sign in and out at reception for safety and fire reasons. Any visitors must have prior agreement by a staff member before entering the site.

Due to licence conditions, campers must leave a distance of 6 metres between your tent and your neighbours when pitching your tent. Your tent, caravan, camper must stay within the pitch size and your car must stay within the marked space alongside your pitch. This is to ensure the 3 metre space between your vehicle and neighbour remains clear for fire reasons. This 3 metre space may be used for ancillary equipment but no tents.
Obedient dogs are welcome. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must not be left unattended. Please clean up immediately after your dog and dispose of the waste in an appropriate dog waste bag and place in one of our bins.
Dogs must never be left unattended anywhere on the site and especially not in hot vehicles.
There is also a footpath just along the road from the campsite that is ideal for dog walks.
Excessive dog barking spoils the peace and quiet and enjoyment of other campers and our neighbours. Therefore, we do not allow noisy dogs. You may be asked to leave if your dog causes complaints and no refunds will be given.
Open fires are not allowed, only fire pits if they are raised off the ground. Fire pits are only suitable for outdoor use and should never be placed inside a tent or awning. Fire pits should be given adequate time to cool down (at least 4 hours) before attempting to move them.
